After two long trips through the United States, we have visited many incredible places that will remain forever in our memories. Although if we have learned anything, it is a country in which, beyond its controversial political and social systems, it would take a lifetime to be able to visit all its beautiful corners. But in order not to get overwhelmed, we will start with what are the 25 best places to visit in the United States.
We left out other exciting ones, sorry, but we have this post where we tell you 100 things to do in the US…Hopefully, we can discover all of them! Although before we start, we have to confess something: the United States never particularly caught our attention; what’s more, the truth is that we didn’t have much interest in visiting it. Until, as always happens in these cases, we found a very cheap flight and decided to cross the Ocean to give it a try. And wow, we loved it!
So far, we have spent about four months in the United States, divided into two trips that have been some of the best. So go ahead and get rid of all prejudices and give this country a chance; full of unique cities and natural wonders!

1. First, if you only had a few days to visit the United States, we have no doubt: New York is the most exciting city in the world! When you see her for the first time, it will seem that you already know her (think of how many times you saw her on the big screen), but believe us, you will be surprised! 2. Traveling Route 66 was a dream that we were able to fulfill over 11 days, and doing it in a vast motorhome made the trip even more epic. The Mother Road presents itself, and it is one of the experiences that many travelers have marked in red. Of course, if you are not used to life on the road and quiet road trips, perhaps you know little.
3. If New York is the soul of the United States, the heart that makes the country move is its capital: Washington DC. If you’re traveling along the East Coast of the United States, this is a must-see stop (and even from New York), not just to see the White House or the Capitol.

4. The idea is to start the tour of this area of the United States in Boston. The reason? You can find very cheap flights there, and it is not a place of passage at all. With a long history and its fascinating mix of neighborhoods (such as Chinatown and the North End or the Italian quarter), Boston is a city that knew how to conquer us from the first moment.
5. We jump from cold, wet Boston to one of the hottest places on the planet: Death Valley. It was one of the stops on our road trip along the west coast of the United States and possibly the one that surprised you the most. Yes, it is hot (even more so if you have a heatwave in which we reach 55 degrees). However, this national park offers landscapes almost alien to our planet, with desert, dunes, salt flats, mountains of colors, salt basins, and very suggestive corners. 6. Let’s turn down the heat a bit and travel to Alaska, albeit mentally. It is a destination that has eluded us for the time being, but believe us when we tell you that it would be the place we would like to fall if we could teleport. And why go to these distant wildlands? The plan to search for bears (even in the distance), whales of tranquility and emotions, lost villages, and a little house in the woods with a fireplace and puppies for housesitting, doesn’t sound bad.

11. We doubted whether or not to include Atlanta in our trip to the East Coast, and finally, after spending a few days there, we believe that it is an exciting city to visit. At first glance, it may seem like one of the hundreds of huge cities that grow like mushrooms throughout the country. 22. The endpoint of our first two-month US trip was Miami. We arrived with the battery low, and it was hot, so we wanted to go back to enjoy it to the fullest. 24. We didn’t go to the Grand Teton National Park either, but by seeing their photos, we wanted to set foot in Wyoming and get lost with a stroller through those dreamlike landscapes. We have to organize a big trip to the north of the country.
25. Where we did make a road trip was in Texas, and we loved it. It is a state that, a priori, you have all the ballots to make us want to get the hell out of there, but look, we fell for the Texan charm. It has exciting cities (like San Antonio and Austin), charming towns (Gruene, Fredericksburg), and its barbecues, the mother of beautiful love! We wouldn’t mind coming back with more time at our disposal. It was our road trip through Texas.
